Santa Catalina Island Conservancy - The Conservancy is responsible for protecting numerous rare and endangered species found on the Island and nowhere else in the world. Conservation efforts, scientific research, and educational outreach persist while the Island welcomes more than one-million visitors a year. Balancing human needs and desires and the needs of the land to stay healthy is challenging indeed.

USC Wrigley Marine Science Center - Located on Catalina Island jjust 20 miles off the coast of Los Angeles, the Philip K. Wrigley Marine Science Center (WMSC) is the heart of the Wrigley Institute. Generous gifts from the Wrigley family have transformed the center into a state-of-the-art laboratory and teaching facility.

Catalina Island Interpretive Center - This interactive interpretive center is nestled in a large canyon at an elevation of five hundred feet. The center features recordings of whales, dolphins and sea lions. Visitors can learn about kelp forests and ocean currents. There is also a monthly nature day-camp for children 5-12 years old. Docent tours and picnic areas are provided. School and group tours are by reservation only. Hiking permits and maps are also available.

Mountain and Sea Educational Adventures (MSA) - Mountain and Sea Educational Adventures (MSA) offers youth camps that study field and marine biology in the most beautiful and complex ecosystems in Southern California. Cooperative learning groups teach processes of field and marine biology as campers forge relationships with fellow students and teachers in an intimate learning environment.

Our knowledgeable staff and guides will help you understand the unique history of our special island and get the most out of your visit here.

Catalina Island Marine Institute Toyon Bay - CIMI at Toyon Bay provides a unique, exciting program that's the perfect way to enhance any student's education!
The program focuses on hands-on, experiential science education. Utilizing our state-of-the-art labs and equipment, expert instructors and the beautiful natural land and sea environments of Catalina Island, we strive to increase science literacy, stimulate minds and, most importantly, to create excitement about science.

Institute For Wildlife Study - The Mission of the Institute for Wildlife Studies is to gather information necessary to maintain biodiversity and viable populations of all species, and enhance our understanding of the animals with which we share our world.

Avalon High School - Avalon Schools is a proud member of the Long Beach Unified School District. Comprised of students ranging from Kindergarten to 12th Graders, we are fortunate to have a unique location and well-rounded staff members.. We are located in the beautiful city of Avalon, the heart of Catalina Island.

Avalon Christian School - Has been ministering to the educational needs of Catalina's children since 1988. Our God-centered curriculum consists of A-Beka and/or Alpha-Omega for grades K-5.

Campus By The Sea - Located in a quiet, secluded cove on Santa Catalina Island, Campus by the Sea invites its guests to step away from busyness and experience God's rest. Accessible only by boat, the 70 acres of land is laced with wooded hiking trails and scenic coastal views that have renewed generations of Christ's disciples.
