Dominating the Avalon landscape from its regal site anchoring the harbor, the Casino exemplifies the elegance and prestige of the Big Band era. Restored to its original condition, the circular art deco icon is a stunning reminder of Avalon's glorious past. The massive, twelve-story building includes a spectacular ballroom and luxurious movie theater. The theater is suitable for large lectures and conferences while the ballroom can accommodate any sizeable meeting, corporate lunch, or retreat. The Catalina Visitors Country Club - The Perfect Solution For Small and Mid-Sized Groups The Catalina Visitors Country Club provides many options for your group to convene. Both casual and formal seating areas are capable of accommodating 25-100 guests. Suited for private committee or board meetings, the Boardroom features an inviting fireplace and historic artwork. Located off of the main Courtyard is the Avalon Bay Room, ideal for conferences or group lectures utilizing a classroom-style or u-shaped configuration. Descanso Beach - A Unique Outdoor Meeting Venue Aside from Descanso Beach Club’s abundant space and premier location, it offers many amenities that can turn this popular spot for sunbathing into a relaxed site for corporate retreats, meetings, and team-building seminars. Whether you envision a picnic beside the ocean or a BBQ under the stars, Descanso can cater to your needs. The terraced lawn can accommodate up to 250 seated or 1,200 standing guests.

The Catalina Canyon Resort & Spa - features two conference rooms, unique outdoor venues and is equipped for both large and small groups. Our staff of dedicated professionals has extensive experience hosting Corporate Meetings, Weddings, Receptions and Banquets. The Catalina Room can accommodate groups up to 150 people while the Canyon Room can accommodate groups up to 75. The Resort offers on-site Business Center Services and Audio-Visual Equipment.

Avalon High School - is a proud member of the Long Beach Unified School District. Comprised of students ranging from Kindergarten to 12th Graders, we are fortunate to have a unique location and well-rounded staff members.. We are located in the beautiful city of Avalon, the heart of Catalina Island.
